Spring Puddles, Ponds and Creeks: Bring the kids to have a fun filled learning experience in the creek! After feeding our farm friendly animals, we will take a hayride down to the Cattail Creek. The children will use our nets and head into the shallow water to catch a variety of critters. We will put all that we catch in an observation bucket. After some time in the water, we will go creekside to discuss and identify our catch. We set the critters free, hop on the hayride and head back to the barnyard. Bring creek shoes and a towel! Enjoy lunch pondside at our picnic site. Want some more farm fun? Add on a scavenger hunt for $1.50 per person. Creek tour is $10.00 per person. Ages 4 and up. Shine only rain date May 28th.

Spring is Growing Bring your young ones to our farm to enjoy feeding our friendly farm animals, a hayride through Cattail Creek, pop into our classroom in our main barn to discuss seeds, germination and different plants to include herbs and veggies. Tour the greenhouse and see plants popping out of their seeds to rooting and cuttings. Children will learn the essentials of caring for plants and pot their own plant to take home.   $10.00 per person. Children under 1 year are free.  Age 4 and up. Want to spend more time on the farm. Enjoy lunch pondside or add on a scavenger hunt for $1.50 per person to explore the barnyard and old farm tools!

Summer Creek Program: We will take a hayride to the Cattail Creek. Use our nets to catch creek critters and put them into our observation bucket. Identify & discuss what we caught. Feed the farm animals and don’t forget to bring your picnic lunch to enjoy by the pond!  $10.00 per person. Children under 1 year are free.  Want to spend more time: Add on a scavenger hunt for $1.50 per person, search out the old farm equipment and barn yard features to learn more!

FALL Programs will have dates announced in August 2026

Farm Animal Open House: Grab a seat on the scenic hayride thru the Cattail Creek and to the pumpkin field and to pick an ear of popcorn. Enjoy feeding the farm animals and add a scavenger hunt. Don’t forget your lunch to munch by the pond side picnic area. Base Price $10.00 per person, includes a small pumpkin and an ear of popcorn. Scavenger hunt $1.50 additional cost Children under 1 are free

Pilgrim Open House: Kids will be able to experience life as a Pilgrim by rotating through stations. They will learn about the home life, chores and the relationships with the Native Americans. The tour also includes feeding the farm animals, taking a hayride and harvesting your own pumpkin to take home. Great for school age children.   $10.00 per person.

Environment, History and Agricultural Open House: All the cool things about the farm! Gather at the barn, with water and walking shoes. Your guide will story tell the past of the farm and its evolution while we feed and pet the farm animals. Then lace up your shoes for a stroll through the cool native plants, fields and woodland to discuss the conservation and environmental practices on the farm from what is working to what went sideways. Check out the historic buildings on our wanderings. Let’s return to the barn for play guess that tool and try a few antique tools to see if they still work.
