Sharp's at Waterford Farm is a 530 acre working farm located in the western part of Howard County, family-owned and operated since 1903. We offer activities for children of all ages and adult guests.
From mid April through mid November, we offer a variety of educational programs and tours ideal for individuals and groups.
Our first Open House of the season is Saturday, October 4th from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. (Click on Farm Tours and go to Individuals & Homeschoolers for more information.)
The Iron Bridge Hounds & Horses will also be riding to our farm this Saturday about 11 A.M. Stp by to see this spectacular sight of horses, riders, huntmaster, and alot of happy hound dogs!
Our fall educational programs begin October 2nd and go through November 19th. Click on Farm Tours on the left hand side to get a detailed description of all our programs. School groups, day cares, mom groups, or camp groups are all welcome! We also offer special Open House dates for those who are not part of a group but would like to attend our programs. Our fall season begins Saturday, September 27. We will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. through November 2nd. We offer free hayrides to our acres of pumpkins where you can pick your pumpkin off the vine! Our country store is overflowing with fall decorations grown on the farm, jams, jellies, local honey, apples, cider, crafts, mums, fall vegetables and so much more. (Our country store will also be open weekdays from October 3rd - October 31st from 9 A.M. till 4 P.M.)Visit the farm animals, take a nature walk, see the observation bee hives or make a scarecrow. We also have a 7+ acre educational corn maze available every fall. We also have a mini corn maze for the younger children. There's plenty to do down on the farm. This year JZS Brick Oven Pizza will have pizza of all types, barbeque & hotdogs available for sale every weekend, (443-277-2967)!
We have been hosting visitors for 34 years and we hope you will visit with us this year. No admission is charged to enter the farm!
